This decorative pot was my favorite of the entire batch. It just flashes warmth and art from every angle. I couldn't have hoped for better coppers mixed with crackled nature greens. It's considered a "seconds" due to the crack that formed on the bottom (thus the slight discount).

Please note: raku pottery subjects pots to extreme temperatures and rapid temperature changes. One of the most beautiful aspects of raku pottery is the cracks and crazing that happens. This is not a flaw, but rather a celebrated part of the art form. Raku pottery is not food safe, and meant to be decorative non-functional decor. There is no guarantee it will hold water without leaking.

All my pottery is stoneware or porcealin, meaning it was fired at higher temperatures with more premium clay and glazes to make it truly durable. The only exception to this is Raku pottery which is fired at a lower temperature but still very strong.
